So I'm in there learning how to strike and move around the floor in boxing class.
It's really fun actually learning how to throw a punch waaay better than what my early years in Tae Kwon Do has taught me.
The instructor seems like a cool guy and has a lot of patience for developing fighters.
I think I can throw a hard punch now after a 20 min workout on the punching bag with a partner.
But as always... There's always someone stronger than the other, Scott my partner was telling me how he has a job at the Recreational center and gave me an application.
On the way home I was telling my mother how it'd be cool to get a job AND go to high school at the same time.
Of course... I ended up getting a long lecture in the car about how I'm not mature enough yet and she says I can't do two things at once.
The way Scott explained to me, there'll be some time on the job where NO one comes in and it takes an hour or two before the rush comes in.
I think all I need to dedicate school on the job for me is simply and hour.
I gotta try and convince my dad because what he says goes in the house most of the time.
I know he knows that I'm mature enough to get my own money, and stay on top of my classes...
I'll probably apply the first week of August and receive my interview 2 weeks later.
And Scott says they'll ask when can I start, "After my 16th birthday will be cool." will be my response.
It's pretty cool growin' up. I think I'm mature enough though Mum...
