...is going to drive me crazy.

Yes siree, it certainly is. I have decided to go into the cobwebby recesses of the internet and blow the dust off my old site. And then to re-vamp it with my new knowledge of paint shop pro.

Tutorials and plugins are my friends.

Or at least, they were. Right up until they talked me into doing crazy things like re-creating my website and restarting my shop. *sigh* Oh the well, on with the madness!

The first step was trying to get a banner going. I have discovered that the plugins make my version of paint shop pro a little ... unstable. I also discovered that I own the beta version of PSP 5. Which explains why certain buttons are constantly greyed out.

So, after yelling in frustration after the third time my program crashed while I was in the middle of making the banner, I finally got one done. One I like. One that is perfect. And I am upset because I don't know what I did to get it so perfect. *sigh*

So then I started to make buttons. Got the perfect button going. Looks wondrous, it does! Then the program crashed again. And I cannot seem to repeat what I did to get the button to look so nice. I have learned to save often and in steps now. *nod* Yep, save a lot and clean it up later. That's my new motto.

While wrestling (and cursing) at those problems, I was also trying to add a new frame to my main window. I decided I wanted to have the web directory at the bottom of my site. I've taken programing, I know it's not that hard to do. Just copy this here and paste it there, modify this and add that. Except that it wasn't working. Okay, write down the code and make sure everything is accounted for.

Let's see.....divide window into two rows. Divide second row into two colums. Good good. I just needed to tell it to make three rows, divide the second, leave the third. Except it would NOT display the third. At all. It hated the third row, it did. Would not show it, it won't. *sigh*

So I used the resources I now have at hand. Yahoo search engine. Find the tutorial that would help. And tutorial says......you have to tell it that you want three frames, not just stick the coding in there. Of course, how simple!

So, one success so far. *nod* Go me.
