Yesterday, just two houses up from my house, a fire started. My sister (Asiaqueen) and I woke to the siren of a fire truck around 8:30-9:00 am. About 3-5 fire trucks were on the road in the court.... and about 3-5 other cars includng a police car...Everyone made it out safe, including their dog, but unfortunately, their bird did not...(I think...) My mother later asked the lady who lived there (along with her...((boyfriend?? husband?? idk...))....) how it all started...she said.........that they had a charcal grill out on their deck, and they had used it the night b4, and that an ember might not have gone out completely because of the heat we merry-landers were having. Therefore, the fire got the deck then the house....so..thats what was sad/interesting about my week....other then the fact that I worked at the library....but all those car/trucks didn't leave til like, noon!!!
