Prose
A smile, that is all I ask of you. To see you smile through the tears, smile through the pain and suffering. To let me know you are willing to push through it, with me guiding your way. It fills me with an unexplainable warmth when I see you smiling. Showing me that I am part of that happiness, that you care for me if even it is not as much as I have cared for you. Tell me you are hurt and pained and we will get through it together beaming ear to ear. Look back upon the sand we've walked. You'll see two sets of prints. On the parts that you only see one trail, that is where I picked you up and carried your smile. And I will do so happily to see a genuine smile breach your lips.

I feel like
I'm never complete.
When I peel away
these pieces of me.
Pieces to a puzzle,
the puzzle that was me.
A puzzle that will
never be complete.[/color:4a82ba2589]
