Here's A Poem By Lewis Carol "Jabberwocky" 'Twas brillig and the slithy tothes didgire and gimble in the wabe, all mimsy were borogroves, and the momraths outgrabe, beware the jabberwock my son, he has jaws that bight and claws that catch, beware the jub jub bird and the frumious bandersnatch! he took his vorpal sword in hand, long time the manxom foe he sought, so rested he, by the tum tum tree, and stood awhile in thought and, as in uffish thought he stood, the jabberwock, with eyes of flame came whiffling through the tulgy wood, and burbled as it came! one two, one two, and through and through, the vorpal blade went snicker snack! he left it dead, and with it's head he came gallumphing back and has thou slain the jabberwock? come to my arms, my beamish boy! oh, frabjous day, calloo, collay! he chortled in his joy
'Twas brillig and the slithy toves, didgire and gimble in the wabe, how mimsy were the borogroves, and the momwraths outgrabe
"Nothing gold can stay" by Robert Frost
Natures first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold, her early leaf's a flower, but only so an hour, so leaf subsides to leaf, so eden sank to grief, so dawn goes down to day, nothing gold can stay
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader C.S Lewis Where the waves grow sweet, fear not, Reepacheep, there is the utter east.
(I'm not sure if there's anything more to that last poem, but i know i enjoy it, and i love to annoy my sister with it. I haven't read Voyage of the Dawn Treader in forever. Couldn't read the silver chair, and since i couldn't read the silver chair, i can't read the last battle. i'm just rambling just so i can type. i love typing too much. oh, well... it's windy outside today... oh, and those first two poems are poems i've had to memorize in school.)
