The first trumpet sound
Left barely any grass or trees to be found
Caused by the fire and hail that was thrown from above
Mixed with blood from corpses that were once filled with God’s love
The second trumpet sound
The numbering of shipwrecks was completely profound
A past plague from the days of old
Water into blood caused by a Pharaoh’s heart that was oh so cold
With the seafood prices rising upstream
People wishing this was just a dream
The third trumpet sound
A star from Heaven fell to the ground
What was once was pretty is now bitter
What was once filled with life now brings death
It is plain to see this star will bring no good
Its name is Wormwood
The forth trumpet sound
Darkness spread all around
Turning day into night
Even making the moon and stars no longer bright
Though this would only last for awhile
It still contributes to the fright
The sound of the first woe
There was a gate that was sealed so long ago
That sealed up the great dark abyss
To a place empty of all bliss
A key was given to the star to open up this gate
That would bring a world full of hate
A world that would cause people to seek death
For people to wish to breathe their last breath
The sound of the second woe
Released the four angels that were sealed so long ago
Who were waiting for this certain point in time
Waiting to commit their deadly crime
Killing people left and right
Filling people with an oh so deathly fright
Even for those who still remained
Their sin still kept them entertained
