**Warning. This story is deliciously boy x boy. Violence too. If you don't like it, then don't read. M'kay? Thanks. The picture is from Here. Enjoy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ `'=Chapter 1='`
The beginning
Of course it had been a normal day. Jujuki had gotten up as usual, gotten dressed into his gray yukata, and stepped out of his dull room, into the depth of his home. The house in which the small boy resided in, was in fact not a house at all, but rather a huge manor, which housed at least fifty other people. The size was comparable to a large mall, of sorts, since there needed to be many a bathroom, and many a kitchen in order to give shelter to so many people, but surprisingly, no one had gotten lost in a terribly long time.
The manor, nicely placed in the center of a large forest no one had seemed to have heard about, stood proud along a small river, that was redirected slightly to give water to some of the crops that were kept to the back. Along the front were nicely carved pillars, that sent up good prayers to the gods above them. A bit to the north of the actual building, there was a wonderful garden, that connected from the back entrance with a wooden bridge. They housed some of the most beautiful of flowers in the world, but there were rarely any newcomers to the manor to see it. The well in the center had some herbs naturally in it, and was used for most tea ceremonies.
Traveling back into the manor, there were an assortment of entertaining rooms. There was a pool, a game room, in which there was really only a few board games, and a huge library. Most people living in the manor had their own ways of entertaining themselves, other than using the specific rooms. Along with the entertainment rooms, there were several attic rooms, for storing various junk no one really wanted, but just happened to think that they were useful, only at a later time. They weren't used as frequently as some people would like, but they did the job enough. Three very large staircases across the mansion got up to the second floor, which was mainly used for more rooms, though there was one room that had collapsed in, so many residents liked to climb up the rubble onto the roof.
Along with the two floors, there was a terribly large basement, connected to different parts of the mansion with underground tunnels. In the middle there was a large graveyard, where people regularly went down, and prayed to the spirits to keep them at bay. Once every five years, they would sacrifice someone to these spirits, otherwise, it was said that all the residents in the building were doomed. But other than that, they were a happy bunch.
So, there Jujuki was, standing about five feet tall, his messy dark brown hair fell to his mid-section, surprisingly without many split ends. The bangs, however, were a different story; constantly falling in his face. It made it hard to see, which was ironic, since his left eye was covered by an eye patch, due to a nasty incident with a screw. Tiny mouse ears were poised on top of his head, and he was equipped with the power to turn into the small rodent. Besides that, he was a regular pre-teen. He was a pale though, often looked sickly, but otherwise, he would've been a healthy twelve year old. He was a gloomy person though. Didn't smile much. When he did though, it had the power to melt your heart.
He was on his way to meet his fiancé, Mitch, for the first time. He'd been informed the day before of this unfortunate occasion, and he had no say in it what-so-ever. He sighed, his feminine voice echoing through the empty hall. It was five in the morning. He was going to annoy the hell out of his soon to be husband. He was quiet as a...heh...mouse.
He reached the door he was looking for, and stared for a bit. He glared, but his knees were trembling. He had heard of this Mitch person. He worked a lot, so he was rarely seen...but...still...he was so nervous. He guessed that he was a nice guy, since he didn't accept pay for the work he did...Leaning over, he put his small hand to the side of the door, very quietly sliding it open.
Jujuki stepped into a rather nicely decorated room. There were nice hanging plants, and paintings. Off to one side, he could see Charlie. Mitch's older brother. He was constantly being chased by someone named Rose. But Charlie wasn't the one he was looking for. Scanning the room quickly, he stepped over to the bed which Mitch was sleeping in. Jujuki looked down, and froze over, and nearly fell back. Both of the Eastwood brothers were raccoons, but he never expected Mitch to be...so...cute.
Mitch was a little older than him, with a dark blue hair. It was only went to his neck, but two longer parts of his hair were tied with beads. He had soft looking skin, slightly pink. Made Jujuki feel a little self conscious about himself, but he couldn't look away. His fur was a light gray, unlike his brother's brown, and his tail was shorter. Intrigued, he reached out, putting his fingers against the soft fur. The younger went pink, and he took a step back, hands shaking. He felt so...unworthy...this other man...he...was too...He shook his head, turning to run off.
But his hand was taken. Jujuki looked back to see that Mitch had woken up at the soft touch of Jujuki's hand. Jujuki's eye widened. "a-ah...s-sorry..." He murmured, looking down a bit. The other smiled, propping himself up on one arm.
"So you're Jujuki...." He studied the smaller one's hand, interested. "It's a pleasure, naturally." His voice was smooth...Jujuki couldn't tell what it was comparable to, but it was soothing...He bit down on his lip. Hard. To bring him back to reality.
"yeah. Pleasure..." He responded, going red as he was pulled to a seated position on the bed. He looked at his lap, wondering that if he stared long enough, if his eyes would pop out. But they didn't. Instead, he closed his visible eye as he felt an arm snaked around his shoulder. Mitch looked around at Jujuki, "Excited?"
"n-no."
"Then why are you here?"
"Curious."
Mitch smiled a bit, a soft smile, and he ruffled Jujuki's hair. Something that the mouse was not fond of. He growled, something that made Mitch laugh. "Oh, please. That's too cute."
Jujuki made a huffing noise, rolling his eyes. "pa-lease. Give me a break. We've just met."
"but we're getting married."
"So?" "you need a hug."
The small boy went redder than before, and he shuffled away. But to no avail. For some unexplainable reason, his fiancé was being very...intimate. They..were getting married, but...he just wanted to meet the guy. He didn't need a hug...but he was being squeezed more than a lemon in summer.
That lasted for a good three minutes before they took to wandering the mansion, Mitch forcing Jujuki to talk about his life. Jujuki would counter with a sarcastic remark, and Mitch would just laugh thinking it was just some stand-up comedy gig he was working on. Jujuki took it a little too harshly, and ended up storming off.
Mitch sighed. For a long time. "This is going to take awhile..." he murmured, jogging after the stubborn child.
