just found out from my friend that I'll be able to see her and her husband (who is also a friend of mine) at our favorite mexican restaurant. It's called Azteca and it's owned and run by our mutual friend Fernando. All 3 of us met at Denny's inside the cocktail bar/lounge. Fernando was one of the bartenders. For a long time, the Denny's bar was a big social gathering. If you wanted to know what was going on in town, that was one of main places to go to. Me and another friend of mine were such regulars there that when the restaurant would have a manager/employees meeting in the bar, they didn't care if we were there.
You know that show cheers (don't tell me you're to young to remember, they have reruns playing constantly), that's how it was with us.
I wish I could say it was all good times there. There have been some moments, I would rather have forgotten. Too bad, I don't drink liquor, wine or beer anymore, not did I during those times. I'll talk about it later, if I remember and if someone decides to read this and is curious enough to ask. otherwise, I'll on to the next subject next time..... whatever that might be.
