HistoryThere have been many speculations on who or what was the first Kitsune and if it is even alive. The answer to that question is a resounding yes...and no. Mai Bainexi was the first Kitsune, being blessed by the gods for her wit and genius. During her life she bore many children, her first being the creature known as Kurama. During her long life she had amassed a total of 99 tails, her power rivaled only by the god of gods. She was never one to flaunt her power unless given reason to. But it was this nearly limitless power that caused her to be attacked by the gods that had given her this gift. it was a feirce battle, Mayu unleashing every magik and ability she had learned in her long life, but it was not enough to save her from the combined might of the gods. But she did not die, not completly. Some speculate she divided her tials and gave one to each of her 99 children, while others believe she was reborn as a human girl with extrodinary power. The truth to this is that she had merged her soul with Kurama, giving him some of her power in addition to his own. While making sure to give him this power in moderation he still only has his orignal nine tails, while weilding power no other could hope to posses.
Appearance: Looking much like Kurama when in his human form, Mayu has long red hair which reaches to just above her ankles. Although she appears very female she tends to wear whatever Kurama wore at the time, which are usually white gi pants with black shoes, and a white gi top with reddish trim, even if her chest tends to make the shirt a little too revealing. Her eyes are greener than Kuramas, and hold more power in them due to her age and hatered of the gods. In her animal form she in truth becomes insubstantial, literally everywhere at once, but she takes it upon herslef to place a physical form in a set location which is usually wherever she was before. This physical avatar is usually a snow white kitsune with nine black tails each ending in a diffrent color. In her human form when her ears are exposed they are large and white with black tips as are the three tails that accompany them.
Personality This is all dpendant upon her current surroundings. When surounded by those who are overly sure of themselves and boastful so is she except with every right to do so. Usually she tends to be playful and seductive with just about anyone or anything. She enjoys to sing when the music is right and tends to be somewhat of an exhibitionist. As she has been trapped inside Kurama for the better part of a hundred centuries she enjoys trying out the new things of the world, generally taking only a few seconds to understand them prehaps even better than those that have spent their lives around such things. (Recently she mastered every accoustic instrument sold at a local music store...after pursuading the owner to let her of course)
Powers and Abilities As being the mother of kitsune she has mastered every kitsune art beyond its normal means. This list is too long to delve into in detail, it will be said that to cross her or make her angry usually means the end of ones life and those in the general area up to a three kilometer radius. The abilites she uses the most are those she had inherited from the countless sucubi and incubi she ahd eaten over the eons along whit the power she devoured from those few gods she did slay in her final moments of actual life. This in itself is another ability she has accquired. Like vampires and incubi she feasts on the life force of others. But unstead of blood or emotion she eats their actual soul, in the end leaving a dead husk of her victims. She only does this a few times a year but nonetheless it is quite a scene to see as she tends to enjoy the process a little too much. (But this is PG-13 so lets leave it at that <<;; ))
