Sooo, I'm going to an anime convention in March called Anime Oasis. It's on March 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th.... I've been going on all year about it to my coworkers, ALL OF THEM. They're probably sick of me because of it. They probably never want to work with me because I've been talking nonstop about how excited I am. They would occasionally ask "When is it? Where is it? What do you do there?" etc.... So it's not like I haven't been spewing the dates at them all year too.

A week ago, about three weeks before the convention mind you, I wrote it down in the schedule. I told Stephenie, my boss, she and I even went over the dates requested off to clarify. Plus she's one of the people who I've been going on and on about the convention too so there is no way she would not have known, and she was one of the people asking "When is this convention?" so there is NO WAY!

I got to work tonight and saw that I have two nights right in the middle of the convention that I was scheduled to work. I told her, with a kind of "Are you kidding me? We went over this." attitude and she said "Oops, well you better fix it, find someone to cover for you." Which is not how we ever did it, if the manager screws up, it was the manager's fault and responsibility to fix it themselves. Although I will gladly help to ease the complication but the fact that she made it sound like my fault was unnerving. So not only did she screw up (in my opinion on purpose) but she made it my responsibility to fix her ******** mistake.

I have been wondering this for a long time. Shannon, a girl who had been working there for six years, left because she couldn't stand the way Stephenie did things, and Stephenie sort of knew and only made her remaining time harder on her. On top of that, another girl, Beccy, also quit because of Stephenie, She didn't give Beccy any hours for A MONTH. Beccy needed those hours and it was kind of known that she's a hard worker because she needs to be to make a living but Stephenie ******** her over and now she's short a needed job and missed.

So this isn't like Stephenie just suddenly turned evil, she's been screwing people over ever since she became manager, I always thought it was a misunderstanding and perhaps she would get better about it all. No ******** way in hell. She's thinning her herd and I'm next on her list, or maybe I'm even last, I don't think she has anything against any of the other remaining employees, which would make me sad because they're all awesome.

I know this'll sound mushy, I don't like saying this actually, but I really was beginning to think she doesn't hate me, that she's just an awkward person like Shannon was when I first started working with her (don't worry Shannon, I love you so much you're magical underwear creamage to me!!! XD &3) I actually began to grow happy that we were getting along, it was exciting... But now this, it proves to me I'm just another object in her path and she'll do anything and everything in her power to plow me down so she can have her perfect world set up. And.... ( the mushy part >.>;;; ) it is heartbreaking... I would've liked to have a friendship with her... But I'm positive now that that's not what's on her mind, never mind, my big fat ******** mistake... ok ok enough sad heartbreaking emo-poop-ness &.&...


Does anyone else think it was an honest mistake? Am I simply biased and determined to believe that she's trying to chase me off like she's done to two others before me? I WANT TO KNOW!

[edit] I thought of something else, well I've been thinking about it all night but I just decided to share. She ever only posts a week at a time, so like, on a wednesday she'll post the next week and so on and so forth. This time she posted two weeks up. So as if wanting me to see it sooner, as though she couldn't wait to see my reaction so she posted it up sooner... Does anyone understand what I'm getting at? I can't tell if I'm wording it right or not. Bree was working, I'll say that now, she was there when this was all going on, for future reference if I ever decide to bring this to someone's attention, Bree was there. Hell even Matt was there when I clocked on, but I don't think he saw anything. ******** if only I could remember who was there when i was writing it down in the schedule and telling her the dates I could not work >.< that would be an even bigger help =.= s**t.
