The Movie of my Idolatry
Sorry Juliet. I so destroyed your quote. And it was so sweet, too. "If you must swear, then swear by thyself, the subject of my idolatry." I probably butchered that one too...sorry.
[Juliet is probably going to kill me in my sleep, which would make me sad/dead and be kind of cool at the same time.]

And I probably spelled idolatry wrong. Someone who cares about the spelling would probably hit me right now. I can just picture it. Some random person [I picture them wearing green...] comes up behind me and beats me with one of those massive dictionaries with every word or combination of letters ever formed by pen or the human mouth. Or they could just drop it on me...that would probably leave me dazed and confused for, like, ever...

ANYWAY...

The movie mentioned in my title where I destroyed the near-famous quote and probably spelled idolatry wrong is none other than the movie adaptation of what I believe to be the first book in one of the greatest series ever [if not the greatest]. I talk, of course, of Twilight.

Yes, for those who have been under a rock for, what 3 months now, or haven't been to the author's website, or don't get out much [at all], there is going to be a Twilight movie. This is a good thing for one of my friends who refuses to read the books. Silly her... Twilight is Eternal! [where have I heard that before?]

Apparently, wikipedia has a better cast list than imdb [internet movie database]. How very close to ironic. I am kind of depressed at some of the choices. Especially the one they chose for Carlisle. [he isn't supposed to LOOK old, even though he's what, 630-something]

THE CAST [and my comments]:

So Kristen Stewart has been cast as Bella Swan. I think she is a very good choice, despite what a million people said the day it was announced...

Robert Pattinson has been cast as Edward Cullen. I will not say whether or not I approve of him, but I did rewatch the fourth Harry Potter movie and kept wondering why Edward was at Hogwarts...

Dr. Carlisle Cullen will be portrayed by [the way too old] Peter Facinelli. Sorry Peter, but you're like 40 something and Carlisle is supposed to be mid to late 20's.

Esme is going to be played by Elizabeth Reaser. She shall do, since I never had a clear picture of Esme in my mind anyway. And she has an impressive filmography, so she must be able to act...

Ashley Greene is going to be Alice. I think they did a REALLY good job casting this one, except I don't know how tall the actress is...hmm...something to look into. But she looks very Alice-esque in a couple of the pictures I've seen. So yay...

Kellan Lutz will be taking on the role of Emmett. I sure hope he can do it. He's pretty good...for a human...[not like I should talk]

Jasper will be played by Jackson Rathbone, of whom I greatly approve. I never pictured Jasper looking completely...human-like. He always had some "I'm too much of a wicked cool vampire to be totally human-esque" thing going on, but I do approve of the human who shall play him.

And finally [yes, I'm only putting down the Cullens (and Bella, 'cause she totally counts) for now... maybe the rest of the cast shall follow later. I don't know.]
Rosalie Hale is going to be played by Nikki Reed. I think she is good, but not my version of Rosalie. I picture her more like Ashley Benson, but without the happy. There used to be a REALLY good picture of her, but it disappeared. *sigh*

So that is the movie and characters of my idolatry.
Swear not by the inconstant moon but by them...lol.

Parting be such sweet sorrow [I feel very Romeo and Juliet-tastic today],
Twilight
