Earworms...
I read somewhere that when you get a song or a line from a movie or a particularly disturbing image from a book stuck in your head, that it is called an earworm. How incredibly bizarre is that? Why don't they just call it "that-thing-you-have-stuck-in-your-head-and-you-can't-get-out"? That would make a whole lot more sense... They could call it ttyhsiyhaycgo [thai-si-hake-o] and make the world a lot simpler...

Getting a song stuck in your head has nothing to do with worms or ears [well kind of to do with ears, you have to hear it first]. The song is not a worm, that would be icky, and it isn't stuck in your ear it's stuck in your brain! Silly people who name stuff oddly...

Anyway, I have a particularly odd image from a book stuck in my head which is why I mentioned it above and why I'm probably going to have nightmares tonight. I hate when that happens. *remembers book and shudders*

I also have a song stuck in my head. No! TWO songs...ooooo!
The first one is by Evanescence, who I really enjoy since Super_punk tied me up and made me listen to the first CD until I had the lyrics memorized. I was then horrified to find that there were still MORE CDs [AHH! I mean, Yay! Yeah...yay!]. Anyway, the song is called Everybody's Fool. Man I love that song.

I also have Breaking Benjamin's "Unknown Soldier" stuck in my head from time to time. It is a pretty constant ttyhsiyhaycgo.

"Show me what it's like
To dream in black and white
So I can leave this world tonight."

I discovered them with the help of a person who currently doesn't have a Gaia account...I shall recuit, though. I shall follow in Punk's example.

Well, I'm outta here,
Twilight
