Okay. I know this entry says "A day in the life" but today was actually pretty boring, so I don't think you'd care. I don't think I'd care, anyway. So I won't share my whole day or maybe even any of my day. Hmm...
Well, I'm entering a poetry contest. Yay. And the due date is coming up. Boo hiss! And I haven't mailed in my entries yet. Dang. Think I should work on that? Yes? Okay. I will get on that right away.
Have you ever been around one of those people who WON'T STOP TALKING, no matter how many times you roll your eyes or sigh loudly or step on their toes? I encountered one today (as I unfortunately seem to do every day). He was yelling randomly about something that happened and that I both read and heard on the news.
I think I freaked an old guy out today. Super_punk13 will know who I'm talking about. He's almost a gazillion years old, though he says he's slightly younger than that. It makes me sad/angry that he is still working at his profession and I [we] still have to deal with him. Anyway, I just decided to stare at him. I was bored. So I sat there, in the same position, staring at him for, what?, fifteen minutes. [I was bored, yes.]
It was really funny. He got all nervous and whatnot. And he kept looking down, around, and then back at me. And I was still staring. Then he kept looking like he was going to say something. But he never did. I totally freaked him out.
