Saren stood facing the men and women before her. All her fear disolved in a flood of bitterness and regret, "I know I am defying the Council on this matter but I will not be swayed." She stod taller under the condemning glares, "I have mead my desicion, and it will not be bent by your will." She returned each glance with one of her own filled up firey determination, "You may not wish me to chose him... but..." She paused and gave in to the urge to laugh though it was bittersweet at best, "But I honestly no longer care. This is my life not yours... And I will live it as I wish..." She turned and swept out of the council room to her love and her new life. Only a single tear fell from her eyes, as she wished that some how they had not forced her to chose, she loved her past and all thoes in it... but one cannot live in the past... and they had tried to keep her instead of growing with her and become a part of her future.
