Saturday
Youth summit. Woke up at 10:30, or rather, woke up at 6, lazed around til 10:30. Yeah, that sounds about right XD. Ate my yummy-licious breakfast of hot coco, double cheeseburger, and dish of ketchup while watching Crowned. That show is stupid -_- ; , and it's totally not because the people I thought would win, didn't. Headed out around 11:30. So...
They shut the door behind them, and walked down the road. It was eerily quiet, and unnaturally cold. Like, seriously, the temperature was so low the air molecules had frozen into place and birds were fainting out of the sky. The boundary was just in sight, right around the corner, the plant choked wall was all that protected them from the cruel outside world. Minutes later, they would wonder why they even turned that corner, and left the calm confines of the wall for the chaos. "I wish I wore a jacket" chattered Ling. "Hah!" Chuckled Masu, "Who's miss I-don't-need-no-coat now huh?" "Augh whatever, just press the cross walk button." Just walking without anyone telling them where to walk felt so free. The wailing wind whistled past their numb ears, but still, the feeling of facing the wind itself, was a wonderful sensation. The shape of a building loomed ahead, and the two decided to temporarily seek refuge there. However, they found that hundreds of others had already done so, and seeing as how being squished into a human pancake wasn't anywhere near the top of their priorities list, they welcomed the fierce winds and biting cold once again.
Ok, it was actually our first destination, and I had to buy stamps and send a Christmas gift. I mean like, who even goes to the post office on a Saturday morning? But OMG the stamp machine was out of order, and the mailing-things line stretched to infinity and beyond.
And then it started to rain. It first started as a small drizzle, but then slowly progressed to a point where it was difficult to breathe without also inhaling a lungful of water. They had no choice but to use it. That's right, the delicate artifact that crossed the seas with their ancestors, the family heirloom, the lethal weapon lovingly packed by Ling that very morning. Made in China. Their grandma's Butterfly Umbrella of Doom. It was difficult, battling the wind, as well as the treacherous finger-nipping umbrella, but it finally unfurled, albeit slowly and with great reluctance. However, the two girls had forgotten the lessons their grandma had taught them, and quickly recalled the umbrella before the wind beat it into submission.
Writing like that is fun, but mind draining. x_x I remember why I don't write fanfics anymore, or RP for that matter. Still, it is kinda part of my resolution...
Anyways, we met up with K-chan right in front of the center, signed in, got our cool free bags, raffle tickets, food, blahblahblah, and found our seats. We listened to this guy talk about his life and how we should take the initiative to improve our lives. The first session, I went to listen to the social sciences lecture. The professor was weird...it was just...off topic... The second session I went to the health lecture, that was pretty interesting. Did you know that Redbull is banned in two countries (Denmark and France)? And that there are two majorly harmful ingredients in that drink? One which mimics the testosterone of a bull and causes aggression in humans, and the other which is a major cause of brain hemmorages? And that a vente white mocha breve has more fat calories in it than a teenager needs daily? Or that there was a study done where students who slept an additional hour raised their grades by 10%?
Jean won a Starbucks giftcard, and I got a poster thing signed by this singer dude. Don't even know who he was XD. Scuttled over to the library after the whole thing was over to pick out some movies, and then went to K-chan's house with Jean and Mannie. Played with K-chan's cat (lol laser pointers) and ate pizza (yum!) while watching Jesus Camp. Pretty freaky stuff. The second movie, Blade, was totally cooler. I mean yeah, there was a bunch of blood of stuff, and we were still eating when that dude got set on fire, but whatever, still cool. cool
We were watching this weird show about these two friends who trainhopped and gave away food to people living in hoovervilles, when we got to a part where one of the characters told the other that her mom was dead, and that she was pregnant. "Hey Ling, that's kinda like you!" So, according to K-chan, I'm pregnant with Hiei's kid, again. ROFLMAO! rofl Hiei is awesome and all...but really. rolleyes Apparently I skipped my period for months on end two years ago too, hence, the pregnancy theories. Mannie was all like "wait, SERIOUSLY?!" XD
Left after watching the second half of the Nutty Professor, and stuffing ourselves silly with more pizza. She threw Jiji at me -_- .
Sunday
Had this totally weird dream where I was this strange cosplaying fanatic who always wore an eyepatch. And like...I was Kurama's classmate, and we were assigned to work on a project together. Over a course of several weeks, we kept talking, and became really good friends. One day, we were skateboarding over to my house to put the finishing touches on our project ( a catapult). The house was looked like one of those freaky haunted mansions lol. Anyways, he accidentally wandered into the basement, where he thought there might be a screwdriver. And this is where the dream has one of its weird moments. It flashes back, and the scene gets kinda blurry, but one can still hear and see demons being tortured in horrible ways by none other than my father. I guess there's also a bit of a timeskip in this flashback, because it shows me hanging from shackly kind of thing, with blood pooling at my feet and knives sticking out of my flesh. (It's kind of weird seeing yourself being tortured in a dream. sweatdrop ) And then the vision gets so blurry that all you can hear is screaming, whips cracking, and cannon fire for some reason. Anyways, I finally figure out that Kurama accidentally went to the 'forbidden' part of the house, and find him sitting on the basement floor, all shocked like. After reviving him with the magical properties of hot coca, I assured him that yes, everything was alright and that there was nothing to be freaked out about. We finish the project, which by the way looked pretty wicked, even managed to get it out the door lol. But before we're finished tidying up, my father comes home. Fe Fie Fo Fum and all XD. He roars something about letting someone in the house.
And then someone flushes a toilet in the house and I wake up. Being a light sleeper has its bad points -_-;.
Timeskip. Atleast I think so, 'cause when the dream picks up, Kurama is already turning in the project. Only, I'm not there to present it with him, rawr. Being the-girl-known-to-daydream-all-day-and-cut-class, the teacher brushes it off as nothing, but sensing that something is amiss, Kurama decides to find out why I didn't go to school. And finds me passed out from heat stroke. He brings me back to his house, where his mom takes care of me, and makes a big crying scene about the scars on my body (what am I? Mukuro? XD ). I tell them that I'm just really careless and leave after eating all the icecream in the house. xd
Scene shift. Koenma's quarters, where he's debriefing the yyh gang on their next mission. He bring up the file of some powerful A class demon, supposedly in charge of legions of lower class demons. The demon kidnapped one of the daughters of an S class lord, who is threatening to unleash major havoc on makai if his daughter is not found. The daughter is one of two twins, A class by herself and S class when with the sibling. The demon's (lets just call him Rakkan for the heck of it) original plan was to use the twin's combined destructive power to unleash apocalypse on all three planes, leaving him as the ruler of the universe. Unfortunatly, he only managed to swipe one girl, and hold her captive. Click click, he flips through the powerpoint with the pictures of the suspect: scaly, spiky, and dangerous looking. Then he gets to the picture of the captive, and Kurama gasps, saying that the girl had an uncanny resemblance to his friend at school. And they're sent to retrieve her.
The yyh gang barges into the classroom, and the teacher screams and faints, thinking it's a terrorist takeover. But eyepatch girl is not in school, figures, and they decide to search for me. Taadaa, they find me in the house basement, all tied up and stuff like in the flashback.
I wake up to Kurama's mom tearfully telling the teenage form Koenma that the scars are worse than last time or something. I try to sneak home, but Kuwabara blocks the door, saying that I was too injured to move and that they had questions to ask me.
omg this is taking so long to type up....
Anyways, Koenma sits me down and asks me if there's anything abnormal going on in my life, at which I shake my head no. He shows me a bunch of pictures of a place that seems familiar, and thinking that makes my head hurt. Not getting any real answers, he's quite for a moment, and then asks me to take off the eye patch. I reluctantly remove it after a few minutes of persuasion, but the skin under it is too bruised and puffy for him to see what he was looking for. Like seriously, that was one horrible black eye, I must have cringed in my sleep when I saw the damage. There's a small flashback here, a memory of my father beating me to a pulp and telling me to never take the eyepatch off since it was a disgrace.
They let me go, not being able to keep me against my will and I return home. The dream splits, like a dual screen TV. One side shows the girl being tied up and harshly whipped and insulted. In the other, Botan runs into the room the yyh gang are in and tell them that she has recieved a picture of the disguise Rakkan is using, and Kurama recognizes it as my father.
Another flashback here, where it shows the demon beating the lord's daughter to near death. The shock of such abuse shuts her brain down and erases all her memories. When she wakes up, Rakkan brain washes her by showing affection and telling her to obey only him, her father.
The yyh gang arrive at where the house is, or rather where it was supposed to be. The house has disappeared, leaving an empty lot. I guess they search for weeks or something, because the dream moves onto a night when its raining and there's thunder and lightning. The phone rings and wakes up Kurama, and who could it be but me on the other end lol... I end up staying at his place, I think its because I ran away from home or something. I get washed yay. Wounds treated double yay. Fed, and then sat down with the gang. I agree to have the eye patch removed, but just as their (either Koenma or Kurama, the dream is kinda unclear here) hands touch the bow, there's a big crash. The dust clears, and walking through the hole in the wall is none other than Rakkan, here to take back his 'daughter'. In his real form too, I might add, and it doesn't look so pretty. It's like a cross between the Millenium Earl, a Rockepeller, a Sylliaca, and Slow King. Water based demon I think, 'cause he traps them in a water....thing? then promptly sticks his ridiculously long nail through my middle and leaves. Yes, with me still skewered on the nail. -_-;
So yeah, the gang come save me via portal made by Kuwabara, and the battlefield is a big bathroom looking room. Rakkan orders his minions to attack. There's a bunch of cool fighting going on here, but I don't think I'm confident with my writing skills enough to describe that XD. All one needs to know is that Rakkan fills the room with a strange liquid that slows down everyone's ability to move, but since he's kind of fish like, it doesn't affect him. Kurama gets knocked out somehow, don't really remember...perhaps it was the breathable liquid, but he transforms into Youko (Yoko?), and battles it out with the evil demon. Meanwhile, I'm still stuck onto that nail, which is stuck into the wall, and I'm bleeding quite badly too. Who wouldn't be bleeding if something the size of a broadsword were stabbed into their tummy? Yoko kills Rakkan yay, then goes back to human. But the demon's minions, seeing their master dead, decide they want to be the next in charge, and start killing off the rest of the competition, beginning with the yyh gang. Botan pulls out the nail, but that only makes my bleed more, and just about when I'm about to die from blood loss (there's a totally cheesy fluff moment here) the memory block goes away.
POV shift here, I watch as my eyes widen in realization of my true identity, and stand up. The eyepatch falls away, and reveals an eye that's like a monochrome version of Allen's eye, scar and all. Ho hum, picture picture picture...fine, no picture -_- think like book 3 when he gets mad at the akuma for taking out Lala's heart yes, that eye and out of nowhere, I pull out a cello, and as I play Apocalyptica's Hyperventilate, a black hole opens up in the middle of the fight area, and sucks those evil minions in. Those who try to fight it get pulled in by chains. Muahahaha. Naturally, the good guys are shocked.
Faint.
And then I wake up in his house, and for some reason I climb to the roof, and start thinking about my real family (or the real one in my dream), and this feeling of lonliness just hits me. Ningenkai is cool and all, but there's nothing like home. In my sadness, I sing. In some foreign european language. And in makai, my sister hears it (ear perk nyaaa), and arrives at the roof through a black hole. And we sit there, on Kurama's roof, singing and playing our cellos together, and the world just feels so peaceful.
The end. Thank goodness, that dream was so long. I think it took me longer to type it up than the time I was actually sleeping.
So, onto the rest of Sunday. Which was mostly spent playing Flyff.
Background information: I happen to have the unfortunate business of playing on the only server that has inflation problems. Seriously, people avoid Aibatt because of the ridiculously high prices, not that I knew that when I made my character last summer. I always thought it was normal for a Flury suit to cost around 45 mil. And then I find out that on the Mia server, it's going for about 10 mil. And I just feel so stupid. Of course, there's no way I can change servers now, Aibatt's my home, and all my flyff friends play there. I just don't have the motivation to start anew in some random server. True, Aibatt is a place where people can get really really rich by selling things at high prices, but those people have probably also invested real money into the game, which I'm kinda hesitant to do. Gotta save up for fanime you know? Anyways, my main character (like most of my characters online) is a healing class. We're the buff slaves, existing only to serve, heal, and help for the first 80 levels of our e-lives. It's pretty obvious that these kinds of classes are pretty pathetic when it comes to fighting. Even with my hybrid build, I can barely complete the quests without spending hundreds of thousands from food spamming. Being lazy and shy, I don't get leveling partners very often, so I do occasionally grind. Heck, levels 1-69 were pretty much that. No wonder my guildies and everyone else did a double take when I switched the stick for knuckles.
So yes, I can fight, but still very weak. And pretty poor. Managing to save up 10 mil is like a miracle, and when I think maybe I can finally upgrade my armor, the prices do that stupid rise thing. You know, like when something is in short supply, demand causes price to go up? Right. Turning level 70, I thought maybe it was time to splurge and get mighteers, or check out the Gsticks in preparation for the mines. Not happening. V11, which sounds like a blessing, is throwing the markets in a tumble. Not sure of what the new version would bring, sellers stopped selling, or pitched prices higher, just incase they were getting rid of something very useful in the next version. Mights, which were usually around the 10-12 mil area when I last checked, were at a crazy 19 mil. And Gsticks were no where to be found.
So I ventured into Dekane without my cool jazzy new stuff. And died 7 times. That's right, 7. Se-ven. That's 35%! Huge setback for a girl who levels like every other month. But it was cool, found some people in need of a partner in the pinky room (nightmare getting there though) and got some exp to balance out the loss. I would have leveled so much sooner if I had the Gstick ;__;
And now, I have to start thinking about restatting myself, for the awesome AOE attack that healers get at level 80. Only, it costs $20. Or 200 mil if I want to buy it in-game. stare
