The biggest thing people do wrong in the Q&A! Hi there, if you're a regular in the Q&A or are trying to become one, please take a quick second to read this. Quick Fact - Did you know posting in a reportable thread is considered spam in nearly 99.9/100 cases? And we do round our figures up. Posting "Wrong Forum" is something that can get you in trouble, as you obviously haven't read the rules of the Q&A. If someone posts an obviously misplaced thread, there is in fact a correct procedure to follow. 1. Report the thread as being misplaced or spam. 2. Leave. Do not post in the thread as you are now breaking the Q&A rules. Didn't know that? That sucks, but ignorance of a rule doesn't make you exempt from it. I suggest you go and check out the Questions & Assistance Forum: Rules & Guidelines, as it is a good read. Want to know something else all you Q&A regulars? Did you know that when you revive a thread to repeat a point someone else already made, it doesn't actually help! You may feel cooler, but you look like a dork, and then the rest of the Q&A regs go and laugh about it behind your back. Yes, we do do that. (Do do wink ) If you've posted in the Q&A before, we've got your name, number, posting style and social security number. We know all. And we love laughing. Oh they're we're a mean bunch.
