So, the very first day I'm on the site, I send out a perverbial "a**-load" of auditions for projects on the site that I'd be interested in. Amazingly enough, I got an acceptance right off the bat by a guy who's creating a game in RPG Maker called Chrono Crisis. It's a sequel to Squaresoft's classic SNES game Chrono Trigger and I'll be getting to play your standard sarcastic, handsome swordsman bad guy in the game. I was so excited to think that I had some real talent to be wanted to quickly! THe game won't be done until the end of the year, but that's definitely something cool to put on a resume.
Last night though, I started recording myself more in different voices doing different things and the more I recorded, the more I started loathing my voice. Nothing I did was right to me and it all seemed like garbage...
Then today, I see another interesting project come up that'll be a radioplay. It sounded pretty interesting what with the main character being a pseudo cross between Buffy the Vampire slayer and Cutey Honey, so I sent in an audition for this panther character who's supposed to sound all knowing. Well, I didn't respond to the thread she made about the project after I sent the audition, but I checked back with it a little while ago and she posted how excited she was that she already got a response back...
...And that she might have already found the perfect person to play that panther character I auditioned for! Her exact words were:

It made my heart go pitter-patter. ^_^
Funny thing is, I just checked back in to copy and paste that quote and ZING, BABY! She already decided on me for the part! Dammit, things are finally going to start looking up for me, I hope.
Now I just get the money to move to be with Monica, and life is good. heart
