Fear the Penguak for one day she will grow up big and strong.
3. Flibb.
Tenderbeak continued to lead her down the icy halls, seemingly ignoring her at this point. Since she'd asked about those doors he'd taken on a rather colder demeanor. That's npt to say he hadn't treated her as an inferior, but now he seemed to be trying extra hard. She sighed softly as they rounded yet another corner and felt bitter dissapointment set in when she saw the same brownish-gray and white she'd been seeing since she first emerged from the room she'd awoken in. The only noteworthy thing she'd encountered this whole time had been thos ehuge gold doors. It the funniest thing really. As she was walking away she turned to catch one last glimpse of the door before she continued on her way, and to her surprise they'd dissapeared.Istead in there place was a solid sheet of ice coating gray rock. She'd stood staring in confusion for a moment before she heard an impatient sigh issue from behind her and she turned to see Tenderbeak waiting impatiently. Upon making eye contact he pivoted and abruptly began down the hall again. With one last glance over her shoulder to make sure the doors hadn't decided to return when she wasn't looking she followed him reluctantly.
That had bwwn so many halls ago. She wasn't sure she'd ever remember exactly where thos doors had been. How could anyone find there way around this place when every corner looked exactly like the last. She was about to resign herself to staring blankly at the floor when a faint sound caught her attention. Voices, she realized with a start. She couldn't make out what they were saying but they held her attention quite thouroghly. She was delighted to find they were head straight toward the source of the voices. One of the frosted doors had been flung open and a small shaft of artificial light had been thrown across the hall.
The voices were clear not but stopped abruptly as a small bird backed out of the room bowing repeatedly and muttering "I'm sorry miss" over and over again. Recognition struck almost instantaneously. The bespecticled bird with his blue-tipped beak struck a chord of familiarity in her. Although she couldn't quite place him. From the look Tenderbeak was giving him, the older bird didn't harbor much respect for the blue-beaked youth.
Her gaze lingered on him a moment longer and he glanced up their eyes meeting. He blinked and glanced between her and Tenderbeak with seom element of confusion. But after a moment realization hit and his eyes widened considerably for such a small animal.
"I.. I'm terribly sorry mis!" He stammered a hint of hysteria evident in his voice.
"Flibb calm down before you beak yourself" A stern voice issued from the doorway. Feather blinked recognition eating at the back of her mind. Flibb... where had she heard that before? Than it struck her. This was the little b*****d that beaked her.
"you.." She growled prepairing to advance on the frightened youth, but a strong feather clad hnd stopped her. causing her to start slightly. She glaced over to find tenderbeak shaking his head.
