The day after Thanksgiving, the official beginning of the shopping season. Even though I started early and I don't have that many more things to get, suddenly I feel preasure to get things wrapped up (no pun intended). I didn't really buy anything today, even though the sales were okay, I guess owning a video store makes you kinda jaded when it comes to deals on electronics and media. Not to mention that my kids like very specific things and those things are seldom on the "buy-one-get-one-at-a-great-unbelievable-deal" ads or anything that really helps ease the cost of the holiday expense. Not that it is all money based to me, I really do like giving (and receiving) gifts, but I hate not having enough money to get all the things I'd like to get and I also hate making choices of what extended family or friends will get anything or not. It will all come together in the end, like every year. I just wonder why I can't be one of those people who luck out and strike it rich all of a sudden, or at least be a close friend of someone that happens to.
