There is confusion over a newspaper's claim that a reporter breached security at Sandhurst and took video pictures of Prince Harry.Clarence House said the person filmed was not the young royal, who is a cadet at the military academy.
A spokeswoman said: "Having reviewed the footage and spoken to those who were with Harry we are of the opinion it is not him in the footage."
But the Sun insists it WAS Harry in the film.
A spokeswoman for the paper said: "The footage is Prince Harry. We stand by it 100%. The Clarence House denial is absurd."
Defence Secretary John Reid has ordered an investigation into the security breach.
The Sun investigator spent seven hours wandering around Sandhurst armed with a fake bomb.
He got in on the pretext of wanting to use the library for research purposes.
Eventually a soldier challenged him and reported his concerns to a policeman.
Even so, claims the Sun, the officer seemed happy for its man to remain on the premises.
An MoD spokesman said: "We treat any kind of breach of security extremely seriously.
"Sandhurst is now conducting a review of its procedures and changes will be made."
Prince Harry has just completed his initial five weeks training at the college - a "rite of passage" to transform him from a civilian into a soldier
