So I got to make two more cables today. The crossover cable and the rollover cable. They are both really pretty. *smile* But I have determined that the crossover is harder to do, because the cables do not like to lay nicely when you start off with GreenWhite....
Rollover is easy to do because you wire it the same and then flip it over before you insert it into the jack and crimp it.
Though the easiest is still the straight-through because you wire it exactly the same and the cables lay down nicely.
The only problem I seem to have is that I always snip the cables to long at first. So I have to go back and re-snip them to the proper length. It gets harder as the cables get shorter. I want a nice snipper that I don't have to worry about adding another quarter inch to the lenght than I intended. One day, when I have enough money. *nod*
