Who: A girl, estimated to be about 16, wearing a purple denim skirt, black leggings, a black-and-white striped shirt, a black sweater, and huge, pink heart earrings.
What: This girl was oozing confidence! I was extremely happy just seeing her. When other people are happy, I am as well. And this girl was clearly enjoying herself. Although it was raining, she was with her friend, and that seemed to be all she needed.
When: Midmorning.
Where: Boston Commons (in Boston, MA)
Why: It's Columbus Day, which means three-day weekend, which means my family and I went on vacation. So that girl was probably on vacation, too.
Conclusion: The world is still a beautiful place. heart
