four year old terri got a very special birthday present a littls baby kitten. terri named the kitten fluffy because he had a fluff of fur around his neck. terri and fluffy did everything together. when terri was eating fluffy would sit under the table and play with terris shoestrings. at night fluffy would climb up on terris bed and cuddle up on the pillow next to terri. terri had to scold fluffy one day when she saw him trying to catch a goldfish for lunch. fluffy was sorry and promised never never to try that again. one morning fluffy was gone. he just disappeared. terri looked in every corner of the house and in all of fluffys favorite hiding places but fluffy was nt there. all day terri looked for fluffy. she went up and down the street calling his name. fluffy didnt come home when it was time to eat. fluffy didnt come home when it was time to go to bed. terri was so sad. she cried and sobbed and then cried and sobbed some more. mother tucked terri in at bedtime. when she was all alone in her room terri prayed dear god oh please dont let anything bad happen to fluffy. he is only a little kitten and i am so sad and worried about him. will you please take good care of him? if he is lost could you please let some little girl like me fimd him and give him a good home? thank you god. amen. terri had a dream that night. an angel came to talk to her. terri you must believe that everything will be ok. dont worry about fluffy because god is taking care of him. god takes care of all of us. just trust him. terri was so happy that she kissed the angel right on the nose. the next morning terri heard a tiny sound outside her window. i wonder if i am still dreaming she said that is such a smaill soft sound. meow said fluffy happily. terri couldnt believe her eyes. there was fluffy!!!! her little kitten was getting a hug from a new friend browneyed puppy. they were tired and hungry because they had been in a big fight. so thtas where youve been terri said. i hope you have learned a lesson and you will be good friends now. come in ill feed both of you.
