After watching the whole five parts,of this Ginormic rant about how Disney is Rasist and Sexist and Blah Blah and mean,I've decided that...well yeah Disney is a corprate GIANT!It has everything and it's an Icon to the world. But if you have such a problem with it don't let your kids watch them.I maybe a child myself but I just don't get why people would be so offened by Disney. Yes, parts of the movies can be seen as offensive if you read into them but when I saw them as a kid and when I watch them now I never really think about the meanings behind them. I never thought that the hyenas were black,I never even thought about Abuse in Beauty and the Beast. I never even thought about Pochohantus (Sp?Oo) Being a horrible sign to children abut white superiority O.O It's something I've grown up with and I've never really looked for those things.Maybe having people look for things like that is a sign of the times.Then again I probally didn't see it that way at the time(I still don't see it to that horrible extent now O.O)
All I know is that Though it does have bad parts that can be translated later in life, (For example Pochohantis doesn't follow the original story for the Movie.So what!??! That's wah ta history book is for! Teach your childen to read as well! I learned about that in like 2nd grade...)it has many better parts.I would rather have my child watch Disney and then go make up their own ending to Lion king while running around screaming about Cowboy and indians then play with a Bratz doll that's got a mini skirt and make-up that you can put on yourself at the ripe ol' age of three.Plus those dolls really,REALLY freak me out so I wouldn't want one in the house anyways >.<....I dunno(Sorry I'm ranting)
It's a touchy subject really...
I think that original Disney, not the stuff you see on TV or the horrible sequels and remakes now.But True Disney is still an amazing source of entertainment and I still cry when I think about the song,"A dream is a wish your heart makes." Just because I love the message it gives.
I love Disney! There I said it!! Yeah It's a corporation,Yeah it makes money,Yeah the people who make it are HUMAN beings.We all have pre-made ideas that are manufactored and placed in our brains by previous generations anyways so people can stop belly aching. If you have such a problem with it all I ask is that you maybe take a step back and laugh.I mean I didn't get offended when they made the slovik dog in lady and the tramp kinda overly Slovik O.o'' My great Grandma NEVER acted like that but then again I thought that dog was so freaking funny and cute I didn't care!
Just take the time to laugh at yourselves and at the mistakes of others that make it funny.And if you still can't calm down and just see it as something that happens.Then make it a big deal.Do your research and make a diffrence instead of posting it on youtube and waiting for someone like me to find it and think your someone cinical.
P.S:To the guy that thinks Song of the South is racist because the rabbit has a 'black' slur (His words not mine) Your stupid.The man who wrote all of the Brer Rabbit series was Uncle Remus and he wrote in Dialect. In other words the way the rabbit is speaking is just how the story was ORIGINALY intended. Disney did not Racify it to offend you. Sorry,I grew up with The Brer Rabbit stories and they are SUPPOST to be read with those accents because that is how Uncle Remus wrote everything because that was HIS dialect!

Well anyways,Enough ranting.
