Saturday, August 18th:
Yesterday was a terrible day.... My mom was so sick she had a 104.6 Temperature, and she couldn't even walk. She has no insurance so they weren't even gonna treat her at first. But my Grama told them that she would pay for it. I feel so bad that she has to help us like this. I (Do) Have health insurance thank goodness. I get Medicaid because of my sight problems. Well anyway, They got her a cat scan, and they think she has an infection. I don't want to go into details because its kinda gross. Shes bleeding from her backside is all i will say. She bleeds because her cancer treatment made her develop all kinds of health problems. So anyway this is what happened. I woke up yesterday morning, and my mom had a high fever. i said Oh my god mom! That could be an infection! We should take you to Urgent care because its faster than the ER. So we waited for a bit. Then we got in and they took a lot of blood from her. They said shes so low on blood that they basically had to pump it out of her. So my mom, grama, and I have to drive across the street to the ER. They have to do cat Scans. So we waited 1 hour for the dye to go into my moms system and then me and grama went and got something to eat at the Food court. By the way this all happened at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. So anyway, They told us to go back to Urgent care which was almost closed. They gave her an antibiotic shot in her hip for the infection. Then we were all in the car about to drive away and my mom had a sudden need to use the bathroom. She wandered around looking for one while my grama got the nurses and told her to go inside. About 10 minutes later my mom was ok. But We finally got home, and i was Really tired. Yesterday was the most scary day of my life. I had to help my mom go to the bathroom, drink grape juice, and go up and down stairs. I was scared.... Well that's all for now. They say today if her blood count isnt better, they will have to hospitalize her. sad
