“Hey Lugh!” a voice shouted waking him from his peaceful nap. .

Lugh opened his eyes and sat up to see who called him. It was one of his friends, Wald. They had been friends since they were just 4 years old. You can say that he’s Lugh’s best friend but they don’t have that much connection with each other. They both took up Angelic Lessons on Celestia Academy and now they were on their 3rd Year as High school students. Wald always looked after Lugh's well-being and acts like his big brother.

“Jeez, Wald. I was having a great dream.” Lugh moaned.

“Sorry bud, but Prof. Chartreuse is calling for you. It seems that he wants your help with something.” Wald replied.

Lugh stood up and brushed off the white grass that were stuck on his uniform. He picked up his bag and started walking towards the school.

“Hey Lugh! Wait for me!” Wald shouted and ran beside his friend. “You could have even said something before taking off, you know.” Wald said trying to make eye contact with his friend.

“Yea, whatever.” Lugh mumbled.

“Huh? What’s your problem? Did I do something?” Wald put his hand on Lugh shoulder and spun him to his direction. He looked straightly at Lugh.

Lugh looked down towards the ground and just said.
“Sorry, it’s nothing. I just have a lot on my mind.”

Wald decided to just keep quiet and resumed walking to the Academy with Lugh walking beside him.

When they reached the Celestia Academy, they felt something was amiss.
Suddenly, Dark Shadows surrounded the two angel trainees and were growing close on them.

“Oh no, the Acherons are back! How’d they get past Empyrean’s defenses?” Wald shouted and he flew off from the ground. He saw Lugh was not flying off to evade the Acherons and they were slowly consuming his body with their darkness.

“LUGH!”

Wald took out his Guitar of Angellus and blasted the 7th Angel Song, PARAISO in the direction of Lugh.

The Acherons were turned to ashes but Lugh just continued to stand still.



“LUGH! What were you thinking! Do you want to die! Huh? Tell me!” Wald placed his hands on Lugh’s shoulders and started shaking him from his trance.

“I…don’t…know….” Lugh said without emotion.

“What do you mean, you don’t know?” Wald removed his hands from Lugh and he sighed.

“Lugh….” Wald muttered.

As they were having their talk, they didn’t notice that another wave of Acherons were coming towards them.

“AH! NO!!!!” Wald shouted as the Acherons shrouded him, while Lugh closed his eyes and let the Acherons consume him too.
