Okay. This is what I did at camp:
Saturday:
My TLC wanted to make the room more homey so we "borrowed" stuff from the lobby. (that ended up being our inside joke for the rest of the week.) We took a chair, a lamp, three candles, some fake grapes, and a basket of fake flowers.
Thenthe other American got there and got to know our TLC(which is what we called counselors). I already knew the other American so I got to know our TLC instead.
Then we left for our swim test early because our TLC (she was a Canadian) said that she knew that the rest of the girls were Canadians and Canadans are always late to that camp.
Then we had a tour of the camp.
After the tour we finished settling in and then the Canadians got there, but we had to go right to chapel (which we had every day) so we didn't meet them until afterwards.
The other girls in our cabin were Alicia (who was supposed to be a CIT), Doray (her name sounds the same as Dorrie, the fish from Finding Nemo, and she gave us a lot of candy. biggrin ), and Savannah. All three of them are Canadians. biggrin
Sunday:
It was raining really hard and so we couldn't go swimming and we played games in the lobby.
After lunch ir had stopped raining and so we went conoeing and we tipped ours on the sand bank and so I was soaked!
Then we did some games in the gym and in the field next to it.
Then we had dinner and after dinner was Nite Connexions (that was something we had every night, and yes, that's how they spelled it). We played games and then watched a video. After that we wrote our sins (it was a Christian camp) on two pieces of paper. One we put on the wall, and the other we kept with us. Then we went to the camp fire and dropped our piece of paper into it. Then they took the piece of paper that was on the wall that we put our sins on and stuck it in the fire as well.
Monday:
We did low ropes after breakfast. One was two platforms a good distance apart with a rope in the middle. You had to get the rope from the middle and swing across to the other platform without touching the ground. The next one was this giant spool-like thing on a bar and you had to get up and over it. I didn't do that one. I was scared I'd be dropped. Then was a teeter-totter-like thing that we had to get balanced and then the trust fall from a raised platform. I didn't do the trust fall either.
Then was lunch and after that was Drama and Dance Praise. The thing with mine and Alicia's drama made it into the video. biggrin And Dance Praise was basically DDR to Christian music.
After that we went swimming.
Then we did Nite Connexions. And for that was Vogue Theatre. What we had to do was come up with a skit or song or something using the props they gave us (which for us were two recorders) and the phrase they gave us (which for us was "Has anyone seen the Lord of the Dance?" wink It was really funny.
Tuesday:
I was sick in the morning so I missed chapel, and I was sick every morning after that, but strangely I was fine by afternoon.
After chapel, I was able to do one part of the craft before I felt that I needed to go back and lay down.
Then was lunch. After lunch was highropes/zipline! I was too scared to go on the highropes, but I went to the top of th tower (which was like 30 feet high) and eventually did do the zipline which was so much fun!!!
Then we had Nite Connexions and we heard a guys POV of girls. That was really cool, and he had good answers for all the questions he was asked.
For dinner we had a picnick. It was so cool!
Wednesday:
After chapel, I did feet first. What I did in that was I decorated a pair of sandals and did nail art on my toe nails. It was really cool!
Then, after lunch, we did water games! That was sooooo cool! First we did teamwork games and then we played freeze tag with squirt guns, then we did a water relay, then one of us was blind-folded and led through a course, then we played Drip, Drip, Drop which is like Duck Duck Goose except you don't tap their heads. You drip a bit of wter on their heads and pur it all out on the Drop. Then we played four-way tug-of-war over a soapy and wet parachute. After that we went down a HUGE slip and slide down a hill. It has sprinklers on it, and they kept adding soap to it. At the end, if you went too far, you went right into mud. It was GREAT! Then we went swimming, and I finally got the courage to go on the blob. I think it was only a ten foot drop, but veryone else said it was at least fifteen. Most of my nail polish came off from crawling on it.
Then we had a fire and got rained on.
Thursday:
Chapel
Dance/Creative Movement
Free Time
Lunch
Pack
Water Arobics/Blob
Last Chapel/Good-bye Ceremony

Other Things Which I don't remember which day they went on:
We got a book~ Be the Change By: Zach Hunter
We got a free frizbee which all of my cabin signed
The first day they gave us a tee-shirt
Soon a DVD of wha we did at camp will be coming in the mail
I've been bitten by mosquitoes and also FISH.
My TLC is getting married in September and she let me try on he ring. (Which has 21 diamonds in it and is 2 Karrots)
And I now wanna be a Canadian and have a Canadian accent and try Canadian smarties. What we call smarties, they call rockets, and they said that their smarties are like our M&M's, only better.
Sorry it was so long. I was just so excited....
