Out of everything on Gaia, I hate this term the most. "Olbies".
It sort of goes with the N.I.P.S thing.
People seem to think that your join date makes you a more worthwhile person.
What pisses me off is this. According to some, I'm not a worthwhile person since I joined in Jan of 2005.
Wake up! I've been an active member for over 2 years. I have never been banned, and the only thing I've done wrong was a misplaced thread and a too large signature in my first year.
Just because Wendy joined in 2003 doesn't mean her opinion is more worthwhile than mine is.
Just because Sam joined in 2003 and has a Halo doesn't mean his opinion is more worthwhile.
If you really believe you are entitled for things or are better because you joined in 2003-04, you can take a hike in my opinion.
Because at least in this journal, my opinion is the one that matters.

You should be glad though being a gaian with 04' attached to your name does nothing but cause headaches. I find my inbox filled wih PMs asking about the most stupid things like was the old layout better? When was gaia invented?
I say how the hell should I know?! does it look like i invented it. Or the begging noobs that assume I have lots of gold because i joined in 04'.
Your Gaia worth is probably ten fold what mine is. biggrin
It is very annoying when you see gaian get there way just because of a stupid year.
