So Matt is late on picking me up to go to work due to traffic. I call in to walmart and let them know that Matt and I will be about 15 minutes late. When we finally get there, we clock in at 3:15, exactly 15 minutes late. First thing that happens is Matt gets yanked by a manager for a coaching because of his tardies, they threatened to fire him.
I didn't get coached. As a matter of fact, i think about 10 people got coached today. I felt bad that it was because of me that he was late, ultimately, because he wouldn't have been if he didn't have to go out of his way to pick me up.
Ah well, take it one day at a time. Today wasn't ultimately a bad day, but it was still not one that was great, at least as far as work goes. As long as Ali remains in my life, I can have no bad days.
