Ponderings...
Why do we always ponder everything we've done in life? The choices we could've made back then...or maybe if we had acted differently there...is it possible to find a medium where nothing matters? Can we really revel in a moment of peace where absolutely nothing is on our conscious mind? There will always be something unwelcome in our lives....and there will always be something we wish we had never encountered, even though it made you who you are now. If you could go back and change one thing...would you? Even knowing that it could delete the life you've led so far and the people you know from the experience? When something truly terrible happens, we are left to sort out the pieces, but not alone. You meet others willing to help you pick up the shards and move on. Thus saying, many of them own those shards representing a past moment in your life. If you could remove that terrible thing from existence, you would remove all friends moving to heal your wound and all enemies keeping the pain open and fresh. I could never imagine forgetting a friends smile because I wanted the painful moment erased from my life, because when it's all said and done, everything's over and it's just the aftermath. I think you never meet some people you should meet, and I think you meet some people you should never have met. In the end, you can't know what choice led you down the path you're currently on. The interconnecting web is too tangled and in disarray for you to understand why you are here at this moment reading what I have typed. Had I not typed this, you would not be reading this. Had you not read this, would I have had the need to type this? If you stopped reading now, how would you know that there is not something in further contents that will impact you? If you read to this point, but no further...just by doing that you have made a choice that could affect your later life. If you were never aware of my existence, and had no idea this had been posted somewhere on the whole internet, had you been oblivious to Gaia online, was that a choice made by you or for you? Is there indeed a higher power playing with us like puppets, steering you away from this or pushing you towards that? How can you know? Faith is a deniable and undeniable thing discernable only to those with opinions. Faith is an ageless thing, and everyone will have faith, whether it is faith that you will fail the math test tomorrow, or faith that you will pass it. Faith that you will be fired from your job tomorrow or faith that you will be promoted. If you believe you have no faith, then what is believing but a synonym of faith? Therefore, would you indeed have the faith that you have no faith, contradictory as it is?
