why do we celebrate it?
the miscomception*cant spell sorry* of thoughts the public gets from turning 16 is that, they get to drive, have a job, and somehow become a better person. this is competely and totaly wrong, you can get jobs at the age of 14 now-a-days, you dont get to drive until after you have completed classes(and passed the tests), and people dont look at you any different. T.V. and movies have told us that when we do have our "sweet 16" then you are entitled to your own thoughts stare ....not true, your parents now look at you like then know they can make you do watever the heck they want to. there is no good reason that people should belive that turning 16 makes you better than everyone else, i just turned 16 today...and to tell you the truth i feel no difference.
