There is one thing about Television that annoys me. Television Announcer's who don't know anything about the show, or pronounce the name wrong.
It is just irksome, since you have to suffer through their error laden speech over ads and credits.
Take Avatar: The Last Airbender. <span id="test10448935">. . .</span><br/><div id="post10448935" style="display:none; margin-right:75px;"> Here in New Zealand the announcer can't pronounce Aang (He pronounces it ung, like in Tongue), and he got simple facts right.
"Join the adventures with kung-fu and magic...".
Nowhere in the show is there "magic". The bending abilities aren't magic, they're different completely.
Whenever people try to explain something different, they use the term "Magic". Well it isn't, and it irks me so.</div>
