Ode & Palinode to Lolita!

• Description: I wrote two relating, yet separating poems about sweet lolita. An ode and palinode to it. Anyone remember that cow poem? It got so famous that the author actually write a plainode afterwards.
  
  The poems are based on my before and after thoughts of the fashion. I did this poem for a class assignment in my Creative Writing class. I hope your enjoy!

I Ode
Beware of the people who call themselves "sweet",
Who call forth the fashion impropriety.
They are vicious beings-cupcakes, cookies, but beasts!
Lolitas, the ultimate end of polite society.


II Palinode
A world without ruffles, lace, and petticoats
vanishes lolitas into a sphere of brutality.
I say, there is enough room to sugarcoat
When you own some Angelic Pretty.
