    From the sun’s rays that tickle the skin…
    Of the butterflies, the birds, and the bees
    From the happy human’s grin

    I am from the colour green
    From stop, and from go
    From the person that exclaims in ecstasy, “ I know, I’ve seen”

    I am from inside this space
    From here, and from there
    From “please don’t leave” and “ I don’t care”

    I am from the sad man’s song
    From the person that’s always right
    And from the person that’s usually wrong

    I am from a billion places
    From a million spaces and the thousand paces between
    Yet the only place that matters is here

    Because here is where I’m from…
