A Letter to My Dear Friend.
Dear Friend, Where might you be in twenty years?
Maybe upon your earthly bed of death?
For you, I’ll not cry a thousand tears,
Knowing that you died beside your “killer” meth.
Using the drugs you did so use,
You made your son look like a tool.
You used the drugs for your friends to muse,
I thought you were the biggest fool.
When we were in love,
We to each other thought so keenly.
Not lovey like a dove,
We to each other acted so meanly.
We treated each other so merely,
We loved each other so dearly.

Description:
This is a poem in the style of a sonnet. I wrote this way back in High School for Shakespeare class and I got rave reviews back then... My mother and I had a huge fight ion the car that morning and I forgot to write anythingfor class, but, I somehow pulled this one out of thin air and Ironically.... This is not in any way related to anyone in my life at all.
I love comments, so please, tell me what you think!!
Thanks - Stryker
