    It's that time again
    I see her coming around
    There she sees me
    Oh my god I can't do this
    My heart races as her scent fills the room
    Muted by beauty my words cram
    At the mouth begging to be spoken
    Overwhelmed by her presence
    I fade out letting her slip through my fingers again

    A repeating sequence never
    Getting to the climax only to the breakdown
    All senses failing and ready to lose it all
    I see her smile and with each smile
    It feels like drops of color
    Filling in my gray sky
    I hold on to that image because

    She only comes to me in my dream
    So sleep becomes routine

    Let the gentle touch of my wings
    Soothe her into a peaceful slumber
