-
Slumber through twilight, sleep through dawn
bright in memory from first light each morn.
Sleep through winter, under the snow
and also in springtime when bright blossoms show.
Warriors brave who gave all they could give,
they gave up their lives so that others live.
No words could tell what my heart longed to say,
when I had to leave here, and you had to stay.
