- I could feel my heart pounding. He is near. I can feel his presence becoming stronger. I must run. I stand no chance fighting him. He is a born hunter. If I stay, my destruction will be inevitable. In his eyes I must die. I quickly pack the essentials for running. Nothing tracable like cellphones or credit cards can come with me. The man in black is coming soon. I must not be at home when he arrives. I run down the street with my small suitcase of belongings and find someone's car with the keys in the ignition. I make a small hole in the back seat's window and unlock the door. Then I quickly unlock the front. I start the car and pull up about a car's length. Not wanting to be rude, I hop into my own car and park it where the other car had been. I leave a very breif note and then depart with my neighbor's car. I can almost smell his over-bearing cologne as I peel out. The sense between a hunter and its prey is prominant here. No one who has met the man in black has survived to tell their story. Well, except for me of course.
