Chapter 1
Morgan stepped off the plane's steps and into the hot Paris heat. Once in the airport she scanned the crowed for her sister Rylie. When she did not see her she took a seat in the waiting area of terminal D. She hated waiting for people, but what she hated even more was waiting for her sisters. She saw no point in getting her bags since she suspected she would be waiting for at least another hour or two. Despite what she knew she continued to wait for her sister. After the first hour she decided to listen to her ipod until the battery went out. For all she knew she could be spending her first night in Paris in an airport.

Four hours passed and Morgan began to worry. Tapping her foot impatiently, she pulled back her ebony hair with a blue band. Her ipod died thirty minutes ago and had already finished her book on the plane, so she felt even more annoyed. She opened her purse and pulled out her cell phone. She hit the number two and it immediately dialed Rylie's number. After three rings Rylie answered. "Hello? Morgan, where are you? I thought you took a different plane when I didn't see you come out into the terminal."

"Where am I? Where are you, Rylie?! I've been sitting here for almost five hours!"

"I'm sitting in terminal E just like you said!" Morgan took the phone from her ear and looked at it as if there was something wrong with it.

She put the phone back to her ear "Are you deaf?! I told you terminal D! D as in dog. D as in Rylie is very DUMB!"

"Oh. Well, I didn't understand you. You should have been more clear. I'm on my way with your bags. You should at least be grateful that I did that for --- " Morgan pressed end and put the phone back in her bag. She knew she should have asked Skylar to pick her up.

"Why did you hang up on me, Morgan? I should have left your scrawny butt back there for another hour," Rylie said as she put Morgan's five suitcases in the back of the white van. Morgan gave her an icy blue glare.

"As if you would. Skylar should have picked me up. You are absolutely hopeless when it comes to getting anything right."

"Shut up, Morgan and just get in the car." Morgan slammed the door as she got into the passenger side. "Don't slam my door like that! This car cost more than your own life." Rylie climbed into the driver's seat and turned on the car. "Homeward ho!" Rylie pressed the gas pedal and the car sped off into traffic.
Morgan leaned her head against the window and looked up at the sky. A new life. A new start. A clean slate. Minus this minor set back she was sure that she would have a great time in Paris, and she was determined not to let anything ruin it.
