Today was quite interesting. It seems like so many things are going on right now and the world seems to be spinning faster. Lives seem to become more and more delicate...the simplest things can make them fall apart. The worse thing is that it happens slowly...sometimes you're so unaware of it. Now, what's scary is that it's killing us and society as a whole. What sparked most of this is Bowling for Columbine, a documentary that I'll be watching in my Speech and Drama II class this week. Mrs. Padden's reason is to prove that TV, radio-mass communication in general, overpowers us. They tell us how to dress, eat, act, and the list goes on. The horrific images that I saw during the first 40 or so minutes, I don't think I'll ever forget them. There's so much shock and pain that comes with this. I tell you, I wasn't expecting to see what I did.
