I was recently browsing you tube and discovered this cool group. They are called Gregorian and they are totally awesome. You will like them to espcially if you like Gregorian Chant. They take modern songs like My Immortal by Evanescence and Blvd. of Broken Dreams by Green Day and turn them into old Gregorian Chant. Excpet there in English instead of latin as would most Gregorian Chants would be. They are ssoo cool though. You guys should totally check them out if you like Gregorian Chant. And for those of you who dont know what Gregorian Chant is I will simply tell you. Gregorian Chant is the music that the Catholic Church sang hundreds of years ago for sermons or just for fun in the Abbies and Cathedrals. Most catholics churches dont use those types of services anymore because they just simply got old and died out plus they are really hard to sing and most people dont want to sing like that anymore. I think the Vatican might still use the tradional Gregorian services though. You should really check them out though as well as other Gregorian Chant Groups. They are very beatuiful. Also check out Within Temptaion of you havent heard of them yet. I think they are from Denmark but they sing in English. The lead singers voice is awesome!! They are a gothic rock band with a little Celtic sound. Yea I know a Celtic gothic rock band from denmark weird huh...yea i know but they are still cool plus i am not sure if they are from denmark totally yet. Well let me know what you guys think of them.
