Some of you may have heard on the news these past two days about a fire in Stallings, North Carolina that distroyed a house and killed two young kids; ages 4 and 5. The mother and her three year old made it out. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 7:00 PM a candle lighting was held for the family and the children who died in the house.
I live right across the street from this house and so I wish to dedicate this journal to the two children who died on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 12:56 PM and their family. It is not the way that life normally goes. A parent should not have to bury their child.
Here is where you can read the story--> heart heart ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Here I Am) Trying to Say "Good-Bye" Autumn turns to Winter As the snow begins to fall. The shadows slowly fading away, As the new era dawns.
And here I am, Standing in the bitter wind. And here I am, Walking in the Cherry Blossoms.
Letting time flow by. As the years pass by. Trying to say -- "Good-bye" By: Lily-Hith-Silme
How to Save a Life Step one you say we need to talk He walks you say sit down it's just a talk He smiles politely back at you You stare politely right on through Some sort of window to your right As he goes left and you stay right Between the lines of fear and blame And you begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life
Let him know that you know best Cause after all you do know best Try to slip past his defense Without granting innocence Lay down a list of what is wrong The things you've told him all along And pray to God he hears you And pray to God he hears you
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life
As he begins to raise his voice You lower yours and grant him one last choice Drive until you lose the road Or break with the ones you've followed He will do one of two things He will admit to everything Or he'll say he's just not the same And you'll begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life how to save a life how to save a life how to save a life By: The Fray
