i'm revisiting it; it's not cool smiley aku aka asha
but rather stern/stoic filled with guilt and regrets ew!aku
idk what the specifics were before but rn:
so aku does his suicide via student when hime's 8 as per usual verses;;
it's not amnes ren so hime still retains her memories
she goes to namimori & stays a while; she spends a lot of time there ages 8-13 & learns to smile/people
and at age 13 manages to tie shishou's soul to the body of a dead cat (the usual too haha) and she tries to scrounge up a regular body
also she spends time in mikado city (yay!) as well as mini york (yay;; haha~)
and then at age 18 she manages somehow to make a 'body' for shishou;; except it's partially plant matter yayyy
idk how, i don't know science;
anyways apocalypse averted
and now that shishou isn't in the body of cat he can have proper face to face talks with all the people in hime's life
(hunny isn't absent in all this; he brings hime food & spars with her sometime, but respects her decision to not play a happy family with him)
(also this is an ht world lol so uh ;; so g-go (g-fo??) is the one actual game hime plays, but in her sleep lol)
one of the people shishou talks to is asha, who sort of hates him for how he treated hime before;; shishou approves of him b/c he cares for/wishes for hime to live on;
anyways shishou's takeaway from that talk is that he can spend his sleepless nights like asha does - streaming. (re: asha is jiangshi & basically an undead who uses seals & illusions to appear/live as his actual age & not a perpetual 5yo lol - as a result of being undead, he can't sleep. he can't actually breathe either. or really circulate blood lol) and shishou at this point is technically undead. it's not exactly necromancy, but it's not not necromancy either, y'know?
hime at age 18, shishou would be uh... so hime came to him when he was 33(?) & her 5 (he spent 5 yrs without any other humans... wait a sec, then he was 38? or technically stuck in time ugh)
but ofc the revival method... uh plants uh... and seals ofc so i guess he appears a lot younger;; (hime's strongest recognition of him is him at 38 offering a way for her to honor a promise and still earn her death; despite the trauma he caused 3 yrs later....) so i guess then technically he's unaging too except he's already older so it's not as prominent (unlike poor asha's 5 lol)
so shishou creates a channel, as a result of talking to asha;
he also uses ambrus as a legal name (he has no claim to any part of his name; between being disowned and exiled & cursed,,)

he's the houseplant lol
hime's channel is yubihime and it's a sort of open secret - she doesn't advertise it at all (she actively hides it from both AKUMA & Houseplant's channels) but it's not actually that difficult to search up. she does mostly dance & singing (lots of jpop & anime music) videos.
shishou calmly plays through games while answering questions (sparsely) and critiquing the games' fighting styles (heavily)
his voice is considered asmr
somewhere along the line hime calls shishou her partner;; idk do they get involved? shishou indulges her a lot.
