one who didn't have the aku/shishou choice in the first place it was just hunter who can't let go otherwise how could he prove he's human? i'm calling her resentment!ren since that's her main emotion resentment that comes out as anger like b/c the only thing keeping ren from her only wish is hunter (that stupid crying face) she resents him for it because he can't let her go currently he 'says' that he'll do it after he finds reishi (his sensei) but ren has her doubts she doesn't think he can he's selfish except from the outside ren looks really bad?? like nami thinks she's an ungrateful brat but uh ren would like to not be alive thanks but. that face. hunter says she's too kind for her own good except this vers of hunny is one who doesn't really talk much (some actually do talk okkkkay?) so it's like signs?? also ren has strong mantra/observation haki-ish ability except it's like muted emotion/mind reading for a large area and it never stops because she doesn't have anything else to put her intent & energy into the only thing that grows is her observation (and resentment) ren & hunter have an almost codependent relationship to each other and it's very very unhealthy he's willing to take in her anger unflinchingly highlights: feeding her his fingers (parallels to how in naruto-verse au world hunter gave reishi his arm to eat) threatening people who bad talk her and she can't die (because she promised-- because that face-- that stupid face--) Sugoi Squirrel · Thu Apr 15, 2021 @ 06:53am · 0 Comments
