I felt like, for the time being I became your moon the one you gazed up to when you're the only soul awake the one you shared your thoughts to, because like me it was swathed in darkness What little light I have borrowed for myself, I shared to you hoping each time every time you gaze at my light that it was enough Time and time again, I've told you 'don't trust the moon; she's always changing' you didn't listen, trusted my pale face still and change I did, because that was me but not towards you never towards you And so, I know I should've listened to mine own warning because it was you who changed I realized too late that you're a moon same as I hidden in darkness same as I shedding light same as I We were two moons orbiting the same axis that I now brave alone –because you have found your sun.
