So right now, middle of summer 2012, I am at a low. I don't have a job, have been looking for one for thee past 6 months and I have no prospects. I did have one with Aramark at a baseball stadium. It's a food and beverage company that provides all the napkins, straws, stir sticks, cups, etc for office and stadium settings. Obviously with stadium settings they provide the food and condiments as well. I don't know if they provide the coffee and tea as well but I would assume so. Every told me not to take it and now here I am 4 months later with still no job. I have been wanting to get into marketing, PR and advertising but the jobs I find are sales jobs. they lie in the ads saying they are a marketing company when its selling DirecTV packages and sports and entertainment packages. The sports and entertainment packages I wouldn't mind doing because people are more willing to buy those. Its a full time commission job though. Though they did have 3 positions and the one I probably would have gotten would have been the full time commission. the other two were selling to businesses and hosting parties. Those two were hourly plus commission.
I don't want to go back to retail. It sucked. Food service I would go back to. There are a few places hiring. I will try there and update as it goes along. Not like anyone is reading this haha sad
