Raven paced back and forth affront her mother, clothes and other necessities strewn around the place. “You just want to get rid of me!” She yelled, throwing down a suitcase. The mother looked to the girl worriedly, a hand to her mouth as she chewed on her nails nervously. “No…Of course not…” She started, picking the suitcase back up. “You just need a break from here, you ki---.” She started speaking again but stopped when the red head twirled and glared angrily at her mother. “I didn’t KILL him on purpose, he attacked me first! HE called me a freak, mother!” She growled, she then fell onto the couch, head in her hands, she didn’t want to leave. What about her friends?
Her clover green eyes looked up when the door rang, and she glanced to the side. Tears slowly started trickling down her freckled face and she sobbed, burying her face back into her hands, listening to her mother talk to someone at the door. She finally took a deep breath and stood, cramming all of her clothes and other important items into the suitcases. Sighing, her red shot eyes looked over to the door to see who her mother was talking to. It was a man, a mid-aged man? He seemed to be bald and crippled….Then her mother’s voice broke her out of her concentration. “Rae, this is Professor Charles Xavier.” She told the girl.
She listened to what the man had to say. His stare was penetrating though, and it was if he could see through her mind. She shook it off and glanced to the side. “I don’t NEED a school.” She growled lowly, then her eyes moved back over to looking at the two, “I NEED to be left alone!” She stood abruptly. The girl was quick on deciding on what to do; she grabbed only one suitcase and left the house with no second to loose. The girl was quick; she ignored the cries of her ‘traitor’ of a mother and was gone before she gave in to the old woman’s plea.
Raven snorted and was half way in town to get some supplies. She stopped at an ATM machine and stood in front of it. Her hand reached up and was placed upon the screen when no one was around. The machine turned on, and went through all the normal steps needed to withdraw money. She grinned and withdrew enough to keep her alive and snatched the crisp bills into her grasp and stuffed into her pocket.
