Wow, I haven't written in quite awhile. Since around Christmas, I think.
So much can happen in such a short time. Everything might be fine and dandy and the next thing you know, your personal style has changed, you dream job has changed, and you get a really bad sunburn. Always, ALWAYS wear sunscreen and reapply often when going to a waterpark for 6 hours.
You learn a lot of things too. Omega-3 pills are made of fish oil. Never put metal tweezers in an electrical socket. Adults don't like it when you don't clean your room. Even political parties make mistakes. In fact, they make them constantly. Life's lessons can be tough, but you have to learn them in order to keep yourself out of the hospital or jail. Some are easier to learn than others. What we need to remember is to keep at them until we have those lessons conquered.
As I think back at things, I realise that I have amazing friends, pixels and real, a loving family which includes my sisters who I sometimes get along with on rare occasions, and some really snuggly stuffed animals. I am so blessed with the things that I take for granted: food in my stomach, a roof over my head, a warm bed to sleep in, and of coourse, internet. And that's just the beginning of it. The list of things can go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.... You get the point. Think about the blessings you've been given. There's more than you think. What about clothes on your back, voting rights when you come of age, the ability to go to school, getting a driver's licence and maybe even a car, the abilty to read... These sound like such simple things. You could come up with at least 50 more, no exageration.
Take all these things to heart, and hopefully I'll rememberto actually post again soon.
