Lemme start from the very beginning.
So, yesterday, I posted a journal about what I wanted to do, and I finally decided on going to the wedding. Because I'm awesome like that. So, I go into Towns, and I see the boy who can't tie knots. After a while, I realise that he and his so-called 'significant other' are in a heeYUUGE fight, and she's crying, and he's cursing at her.
Apparently, they had broken the wedding.
I, trying not to be be the bad guy, go over to the girl, which takes a whole lot of courage and self-discipline on my part, and I try to comfort her. (Aren't you so proud of me? ) I tell the guy to PM me. So, basically, he dodged the topic when I asked him. I thought this was because he was upset.
Anyways, I left Towns for a bit, and when I came back... Podunkton was in CHAOS. People were yelling at each other left and right. Until I noticed that they weren't yelling at each OTHER... they were yelling at the BOY. Saying things like:
"He's not my friend anymore!" "HE'S MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE!" "YOU'RE AN IDIOT!"
What it looked like to me was that they were upset about the marriage being broken off... until...
"YOU'RE BEING SUCH AN IDIOT, BEING WITH HER!"
WHAAAAAT?!? They got married?!? Wasn't that supposed to happen on Saturday?
I'd had enough. So I started yelling myself. "OKAY, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" And then people started telling me what had happened. They had moved the wedding because there were going to be crashers (TOLD YOU. TOLD YOU TWICE!) and they had re-invited everyone.
Everyone? THEN EXPLAIN HOW I DIDN'T KNOW!
They hadn't invited me. After all the work I put into trying to stay civil, scrounging up money to give to them on the big day, and keeping as far away from trouble as possible, I get this. A total foot up the a**, if you ask me.
So, the boy calls me away from the mess.
He tells me everything, and then he asks me why I didn't come to the wedding.
OH HO HO. Just keeps getting better, don't it?
I tell him that I didn't even KNOW it had been moved.
His reaction? Surprise.
Apparently, his oh-so-lovely wife was supposed to tell me.
I never liked her. Never. And I have NEVER been afraid to show that I didn't like her. I never was afraid to show my contempt for her. And now I had yet ANOTHER reason to hate her.
She had OFFICIALLY crossed the line of PISSED OFF.
The boy always thought that the reason I didn't like her was because of rumours heard around town. WRONG! I hated her from the moment she popped up outta nowhere and started hitting on him. And gradually, she did more and more things to piss me off. AND THEN THEY GOT ENGAGED. I kept as far away as possible from her. And she kept... trying to get closer. I didn't want her closer. I just wanted her to leave and go back to wherever the HELL she came from.
And as I talked to him, she appeared from nowhere. I ignored her.
Do you want to know who the STUPIDEST person is in this situation?
The boy. He couldn't SEE that she was pushing his friends away. She's a selfish, conceited, PMSing b***h. She wants all of him. And now she has exactly what she wants. He didn't see that hs friends care enough to stay with him, despite everything he put hem through.
So, us fizzy drinks and delicious pastries have decided to let the boy learn his lesson on his own. Without us. No, we aren't leaving Gaia. But we are testing him. We are testing our friendship. And if he passes (there's a 90% chance that he won't.) then... then we will know what we want to know.
