as you all know ( or were the profile music and constant updates not enough? ), I went to see Muse live in concert on Monday.
Usually, you've got those bands who crash and burn live. Muse is one of the rare few who actually thrive onstage. Listening to Muse is one thing, but seeing them live is a whole other level of amazing.
Then, factor in an insane audience ( most of them heavily inebriated ), a wild light show, and the fact that I should have worn sneakers instead of heels, and it's become a life-changing experience. I'm not exaggerating. For the past two days, it's as if my body is in class, but my mind is still[ at the concert. I can still hear the audience singing Knights of Cydonia as if it were an anthem ( and it very well should be ). I can still taste the blue cotton candy I loaded up on. I can still sort of see, in the corner of my eye, neon green laser lights, whirling and flashing like mad. And then I become aware of the fact that my math teacher's been asking me to answer him for the past twenty minutes. On top of that, I've lost my voice from screaming through the entire concert, and I have extremely painful bruises on the sides of my feet. And I could care less.
I'll put pictures ( and maybe the videos, if I have the patience ) up, when I find my camera's USB cord. I'm pretty sure the bro has it stashed away somewhere.
